Hank was a co-founder of the Pinelands Carvers, a mentor, to countless men
and women carvers, a man's man with the most disarming smile,a gentleman
and above all, a friend. He will be sorely missed; but whenever men and
women in the Toms River, NJ area pick up a carving knife, whet stone or piece
of wood to carve; he will be remembered.
The following pages are dedicated to the memory of a man who brought his
unusual charm, kindness and generosity to all who had the good fortune to
spend even a single day with him. It is with sincere gratitude that the Pinelands
Carvers say "Thanks" to the Gelotte family for sharing this great man with us.
