...clean new look
pinelands carvers      About Us
We are a group of retirees, men and
women who meet from 9:30 to Noon each
Friday.  Our host is Crestwood Village
Four who has invited us into Independence
Hall, their club house located on Moccasin
Avenue.  Click
HERE for map and
directions.

We share an interest in woodcarving.  We
do carving in the round, relief and chip
carving.  skills range from novices who
cut more fingers than wood, to master
carvers whose wild life figures are real
enough to need cleaning up after them.

Teaching and learning are through a
mentoring process.  Each participant has
something to teach, even if it is simply
patience.  All have more to learn.  Quality
workmanship and friendship are the
principal goals of the Pineland Carvers.
Our style is pleasant banter, on occasional
exchange of favorite fishing spots,recipes,
eating places and gilded memories.

Our rules are simple, we have no dues and
very few don'ts.  We've been around for
ten years now, and it looks as though we'll
be around for a bit longer.  The hall is a
very large room and so we've got plenty of
room for you and your friends.  You can
meet up with "
Boomers", "The GI

Generation" or the "Silent Generation".

If you are an experienced carver, or simply
like the looks of a burnished piece of
wood, or are just retired and are looking
for something different to learn at this
time, drop by and say hello.
