I see the wind in the willow blow, That's when I know
it is time to go
And dance in the light, and the shadow to and fro.
I pick up the paper and it whispers to me, of dreams and
visions it wants me to see
Write it in colors in words in sound,
It is all the same music to me.
Rubies and emeralds, topaz and citrons,
Glittering diamonds silver and gold
They come to my ears with giggling, tickling sounds
Slithering silky they appear.
Did you ever see the color of words?
I love on canvas to paint what I hear
And what I feel
It frees my mind, I dare so much in color.
While water oh so gently flows on the paper
white and still,
Infused by color its own way goes
Leaving beauty and wonder as it will.
While canvas seems to me to stare
And dare me to go on
And I will fiercely enter in
To what is hidden in its glare.
